This 1970 Jean Muir scarf was made in England of a python print silk chiffon, with silk fringe trim. Jane Birkin wore a Jean Muir outfit with the same python print for the January 1 1970 issue of Vogue, photoographed by John Cowan. It measures 45" in length (51" with tassels) and 11.5" in width. Overall, it's in excellent condition. One of the fringe tassels has a light red stain. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
