1980s Fuchsia Satin & Black Velvet Evening Gown

This 1980s Victor Costa evening gown was originally sold at Holt Renfrew. It was made in the U.S.A. of black rayon/acetate velvet with heavy fuchsia polyester satin panels in the front. It's an extravagant piece, weighing nearly 4 pounds! Among its many features are a sheer synthetic chantilly lace top, a ruched satin bodice, and a scalloped neckline and cuffs. The interior has a satin lining and easily-removable shoulder pads. It fastens with a zipper in the back and three hook-and-eyes at the back of the neck. There is a snap on each cuff. It's in excellent condition, clean and ready to wear.
