This 1997 S/S Christian Dior Boutique skirt suit is from Gianfranco Ferré's final collection for Dior. The jacket was part of Look 3 on that season's runway. The suit was made in France of navy linen with navy enamel metal buttons and a navy silk lining.
The double-breasted jacket has a sailor-style collar, rounded shoulders with thin built-in shoulder pads, two 4.75" slits in the front, and two front pockets that are still stitched shut. Its lining is monogrammed with "CD". The high-waisted skirt has a back pocket that buttons shut and a slit at the back that fastens with three buttons. It zips up the left side. Both pieces are in very good condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
