1960s Crochet Cut-Out Cream Wool Three-Piece Outfit

This is a rare 1960s Renato Balestra three-piece outfit comprised of a jacket, sleeveless top, and wide-leg trousers. It was made in Italy of an unlined cream wool, and originally sold at Holt Renfrew. The jacket has crochet cut-outs and no closures. The top has crochet cut-outs and does up the back with a metal zipper. The high-waisted trousers do up the front with a metal zipper and two hook-and-eyes at the waistband.
The top has one very discreet knick on the front (see the last photo), and the pants have some light yellow discoloration around the knees due to improper storage. We have drastically reduced the price to reflect these imperfections. The set appears to have had very little wear and we would still consider it to be in wearable condition, even with the flaws. It has been professionally dry-cleaned and is ready to wear.
