1970s Dark Red Velvet Belted Maxi Coat

This early-1970s maxi coat is dark red velvet with a striped multicolor lining. It is unlabeled, and was likely made by a highly-skilled dressmaker. It has large pointed lapels, flap pocket on each side, and a 26" vent in the back. Each cuff has three decorative buttons on each cuff. The jacket fastens with snaps and the original tie belt. It comes with an ascot tie that matches the lining. There are some watermarks scattered throughout the velvet but it's otherwise in very good condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
