1960s Floral Embroidered Black Silk Velvet Evening Jacket

This Y. Omiya & Co. evening jacket from the Imperial Hotel Arcade in Tokyo is best dated to the 1960s, but could be earlier. The black silk velvet has a cream silk lining and beaded floral embroidery done with gold and silver bullion thread. The wide sleeves have rolled-up cuffs. The jacket fastens with a silver metallic frog knot closure at the neck. There's some minor foxing on the lining but it's overall in excellent condition, professionally dry-cleaned and ready to wear.
