This 1974 F/W Mimmo Ferretti for Diane Von Furstenberg maxi dress was made in Italy of DVF's signature unlined nylon jersey in blue, white, and ochre. The top has a pointillist print and the bottom features an elephant scene with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. The safari motif came in a few different versions, each featuring different animal scenes, which were personal favorites of Furstenberg herself, who was photographed wearing multiple variations. It fastens with a zipper up the back. It's in very good condition, clean and ready to wear.
